Hello!

In my home growing up, there was a needlepoint verse hanging on the wall in our breakfast room that said, “Christ is the Head of this house, the unseen Guest at every meal, the silent Listener to every conversation.”  Every day my parents taught me and my siblings what it meant to love the Lord and walk with him! That same needlepoint picture hangs in my home today. My husband, Dimon, and I have been married for over 30 years and have 4 adult children: Cary (married to Cal), Robert, Will, and Joe. It was out of a desire for my children to grow up with a church family who lived out their love for the Lord that I have found myself being called to work with other children in the church. Being a children’s ministry director is the best job ever and one that I am grateful to have here at CCG. God has given me wonderful opportunities over the past 3 decades to minister to children in churches in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and now North Carolina.  I’ve loved teaching the stories of the Bible and encouraging children to love the Lord with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength! Psalm 78:4 is my motivation in ministry—to tell the next generation the wondrous things God has done!
