"I believe in God the Father, Maker of Heaven and Earth..." That's how the Apostles Creed begins. What an amazing thing to consider! God making the earth and everything in the heavens. And everything else too! And He did it by speaking! Out of nothing He spoke and said, "Let there be light!" and there was light!
If you don't know that story from Genesis 1, I would encourage you to read it! It really is incredible to learn about how God went about creating everything- He put everything in just the right order. So that there was earth and water and light before plants were created. And there were plants before the birds and fish came along. And the most important part of creation He saved for the last- US! People!
When I look up at the night sky, I'm speechless thinking about how vast everything in the universe is! But God sees everything and He even knows all the names of the stars! And I'm so grateful that He keeps the earth in motion and the sun shining in the sky!

But the MOST IMPORTANT thing to know is WHO made it? God the Father! He is the maker of heaven and earth!
